Comprehensive Plan

Chanceford Township, Lower Chanceford Township, and Felton Borough are in the process of creating a multi-municipal comprehensive plan.

This plan is a process of organizing for the future. It creates a blueprint for our land use patterns of tomorrow.

A comprehensive plan is a document that states basic objectives and policies that guide future growth and development. It can assist municipal leaders in their decision making. It is a factual report that examines how the past lead to the present and reports in detail how to chart the community’s path into the future.

Comprehensive plans are to be reviewed at least every ten years.
