Any bills dated prior to September 1 are due and payable by December 10. Only money orders or certified check will be accepted.
All current real estate and twp. per capita bills unpaid by December 31 will be turned over for collection.
Postmark, NOT Check Date determines when tax is paid.
PAYMENTS BY YOUR BANKS ONLINE BILL PAY must include bill numbers or they will be returned
If you have sold your property – Please return the tax bill immediately with the name and address of the new owner.
If your real estate taxes are ESCROWED with your lender, you must forward a copy of your tax bill to your mortgage company. Always keep a copy of the tax bill for your records.
Per Capita Tax – If you do not live in Chanceford Township or are 17years of age or younger, you do not have to pay this tax. Please call me to let me know so that I can make to appropriate corrections.
